It's a little tough. Your must disconect the rubber tube housing to the intake so that you can have room to remove the air filter housing. You can then wrestle the filter out for replacement. By the way, this is a good time to clean the intake manifold housing with a squirt or two of carborator cleaner and a rag with a stick. This will preclude rough idle and hesitation at idle.
