No, the RX8 does not have camshafts, therefore it does not require a timing belt.
look for your user manual and it should have it in there. if not look around the engine most likely on the cowling for the rad fan or on the bottom of the hood and it should have a diagram.
# Notice which pulleys the alternator belt rides on. # Remove the alternator's adjustment bolt. # Remove the alternator's pivot bolt. # Remove the alternator. # Before you can put on the new belt, you probably will have to remove someother belts which means loosening other adjustment and pivot bolts. # Place the new alternator belt on the pulleys you took note of earlier. # Put the alternator back on. # Making sure to tighten all the bolts you loosened earlier. All belts should only deflect 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Longer belts deflect more than shorter belts.
the toyota supra is faster, but the mazda RX-8 is faster than the RX-7.
Yes. I change mine every 3,000 miles. 5W 30 Genuine Mazda Mineral Oil (non-synthetic) is recommended.
One can purchase a Mazda RX online directly from the Mazda manufacturers website, or participating dealers websites. One can also purchase a Mazda RX online through auto trading websites such as AutoTrader.
There are 2 separate belts. one for A/C, and one for Alternator / water pump. You can safely remove the A/C belt with no problem. In my oppinion, & as an RX-8 Owner, there is only minuscule advantage to disabling your A/C, and you're stuck sweating your balls off in the heat.
The Mazda RX-8 is a rotary engine, it has no cylinders. The Mazda RX-8 has a single TWO-rotor engine. Cylinders are only for piston engines. The RX-8 is a 1.3 Liter Rotary. (No I4 or V6) Just Rotary.
The last year that the Mazda RX-7 was made was in 2007. Mazda has now come out with the more edgy Mazda RX-8, which is a big hit with consumers.
1st depends on the driver and transmissions. But my RX-8 is better at 0 to 60.
