On the key fob, in the "corner" beside the hole where the key ring goes, there is a opening between the top and bottom of the fob. Put the blade of a small screwdriver in that opening and twist to pry the two halves of the fob apart. You will see the battery as soon as you separate the two halves. You will need a 2032 watch type battery. Slip the old battery out and put the new one in. When you replace it, the + side of the battery goes away from the circuit board. Just snap the two sections back together and there you go!
