There is an ear thermometer?
An ear thermometer should be placed carefully in an ear to measure the temperature. The temperature is then taken by an infrared mechanism in the thermometer.

While the thermometer is OFF press and hold for 5 seconds the "START" button, it will show the --- °C on the display, now press and release the "START" button one time and it will show --- °F. Let the display turn off and it should be on Fahrenheit when you turn the thermometer back on. Hope this helps some people out.
I purchased it from the Amazon and believe me this is one of the best thermometer for ear.
Nothing bad will happen if to much instant ear dry is put into the ear. It may irritate the ear a little.
The tympanic thermometer is inserted into the outer ear canal.

This is how you change the setting on a BD 524972 instant ear thermometer: When the unit is off, press and hold the blue start button at the top of the unit. Then while still holding the start button, press and hold the ON/Memory button (you should now have both buttons pressed). The display will power on and you will see the setting toggle from celcius to fahrenheit. Repeat the entire process in order to toggle the setting back to celcius.
he made the ear thermometer
For a Meijer K1-8120 from Bestmed. Turn on the thermometer... when display pops up, press the button again. The units should now be in Fahrenheit . Hope this helps.
Three ways of taking a vital temperature are using a digital thermometer orally, using a tympanic thermometer in the ear, or using a temporal artery thermometer on the forehead.
