The body module on the 05 Cobalt is part of the fuse box, under the right side of the center console, its rather simple to change. There a couple plugs to unplug & 4 bolts that mount in to the console. However replacing with a new one requires programming with the Tech 2 scan tool & a web site that very few independent shops have access to.So it would most likely have to be perfomed at a GM dealer.Replacing with a used one im not totally sure about the programming,I do know its not as simple as plug & play on a used one either.
