No tools required - just strong fingers and a good flashlight.
1. Turn off ventilation system.
2. Open glove box and remove contents
3. Remove cover/clip on damper arm on left side of glove box by sliding if off in a downward motion away from the arm. Note that the cover has an opening on the top/back side and as you slide/pull it off, the damper arm post end will pass through this opening. Set the cover/clip aside.
4. Pull the damper arm off the post just enough to release the glove box.
5. Remove the glove box stops by prying inward on the tabs inside the glove box. Remove one stop from each side and set aside.
6. With the stops removed, and the damper arm released, the glove box will now hinge down to the floor and reveal the air filter housing.
7. Push inward on the release tabs on either side of the filter tray and slide it towards yourself. Do this slowly and be careful to not let any debris that may be on top of the filter fall into the fan.
8. Replace the filter. Be sure to place the end pleats into the slots on the filter tray.
9. Insert filter tray back into filter housing.
10. Lift glove box to normal position when partially opened and reinstall the glove box stops so that they hold it from dropping.
11. Place damper arm cover post and reinstall cover/clipzperiodz
12. Replace contents of glove box.
13. Discard old filter.
