Im asking how to change the heater core. I don't have the answer.

A wiring diagram will make sure that everything is connected correctly. The wiring diagram for a 1992 Buick Skylark can be found in either of its manuals.

Just follow the spark plug wires....

Get a Chilton's or Haynes repair book. Amazon or eBay should still have them and dirt cheap too.

5w30 Your brand. Most are all the same

It's behind the fuel tank near the bumper.

I looked them up and they both had 3.1 V6 engines. For some reason the Buick has more horsepower.

The heater CORE is a big job. Get a manual on your car to do the job correctly.

On my 92 Buick Skylark my oil filter is right under the alternator in that area right next to the shocks housing, its is pretty clear to see you have a little bit of room to work with but you should be able to get it. Good Luck

Look for a Chilton's or Haynes manual on Amazon or Ebay. They're very cheap.

My oil pressure is usually slightly below the 40 mark on the oil guage.

the oxygen sensor is located in/on the exhaust manifold.it looks like a spark plug with a wire coming out of the top

I think it's .06 but if you get Bosch Platinum plugs, you won't have to worry about it.

The temperature sensor to the computer is located on the thermostat housing. On the 4 cylinder it is on the right side of the engine block.

In 1992 the transmissions were mechanical. The only electronic component was a solenoid to lock the torque converter. It is controlled by the ECM. This is true for the 4-cyl and V-6.

clogged catalytic converter Agreed.......the smell of rotten eggs is an indication you have a problem with your cataltic converter

FRONT SEATING AREA, DRIVER SIDE, UNDER DASH, MOUNTED ON PASSENGER SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN.

This is a problem that plagues all the N-body cars of these years from 1992-1998. You'll just have to stuff towels into the firewall on the passenger's side right where it meets the carpet and change it every two weeks or so. My 1995 Skylark has the same problem and GM never recalled it. The Skylark is a good car but had I known of this, I'd have gotten the Regal instead.

labor only? they shouldn't charge more than $75. should only take about 1 hour.

probably about $70-$100, i just got quoted on my pickup $300 for complete back brake line replacement

The '92 and '97 cars had a different design but the windshields may be the same. You should check with an auto glass place.

The complete instructions are in Haynes manual #38025 (1420). You actually have to remove the steering wheel first. Amazon should have this cheap.
