how hard is it to change a shifter bushings in a 1995 ford escort how do you change the sensors in the transmission
You need bushings in the bottom door hinge. You might have to remove the finder to get to it. You might trying to go to a you pull it and find a good hinge from a 89 to 97 Thunderbird or Cougar. It would be less work.
There was no 5.2 liter engine in a 1995 Firebird
Press the brakes all the way in kinda like a pumping fashion about three times. I have a 2000 firebird and that's what I have to do.

You can purchase a hinge pin from your local NAPA or O'Reilly's, in their "HELP" line. P/N Dorman 38422. Also see the attached link another user entered. It is VERY helpful. http://www.digitalrevo.com/jeep/doorpins.html As far as I know, they are correct, you cannot buy just the pin & bushings. You could try getting one at a salvage yard, if it is not worn out.
