I need more information. The only rotor I can think of that you might mean is the one under the distributor cap in the ingnition system.
Sounds like you need some new plugs, wires and cap and rotor. Especially the cap and rotor.
well i have a geo metro and i have a 3 cil in mine but they put a 4 cil in the 90s The Geo Metro is made by Suzuki. The Geo Prizm is made by Toyota and is built in California on the Corolla chassis. The 1992 Geo Prizm has a Toyota 1.6 Liter 4 cylinder. Base engine is 102 H.P. GSi engine is the same 1.6 but with 130 H.P.
A 1992 Geo Prizm typically requires about 4 quarts (approximately 3.8 liters) of oil when using an oil filter change. It's important to check the owner's manual for the specific engine type, as the capacity may vary slightly based on the engine configuration. Always ensure to use the recommended oil type for optimal performance.
Loosen the screws on the cap and there is a single screw holding the rotor to the shaft
i had 1991 geo prizm but i want to know what color memory wire??
The rev limiter is part of the rotor arm so you need to replace the rotor arm with one that has no rev limiter, but it does have it for a reason !!!! to stop you blowing the engine up
Probably 10 gallons (I own a 1996 Prizm with a 10 gallon tank).
On my 1992 Prizm the ECU is behind the center console; just beneath the back of the radio/ashtray.
See the answer for the 93 model if you're referring to the rear ones. If you want to replace the front ones, you have to remove the door panels.
if you unplug the knock sensor and run it and it clears up then change the knock sensor if it doesn't check cam caps for torque specs and lifters if it set up for awhile
To read the transmission dipstick on a 1992 Geo Prizm, first ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is warmed up. With the engine running, remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, then reinsert it fully and remove it again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the designated marks on the dipstick; if it's low, add the recommended transmission fluid. Also, inspect the fluid's color and smell for signs of contamination or burning.
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
