nope there is no way of doing it if you are using windows character map though you can increase their size after inserting them, for example in power point you can change their size by selecting and dragging in the direction you want to stretch but the best way would be to go and Google third party character map.

How do you type a greater than or equal to symbol?

You can find it in the Character Map (I found this under the font: Arial Unicode MS--which seemed to have most every character available). To get to Character Map (through Windows operating system), click on "Start" then click on "All Programs" then click on "Accessories" then click on "System Tool" and then click on "Character Map." Change the listed font to: Arial Unicode MS and then scroll down, looking carefully for the symbols that you are looking for. What you do next is to click on the character (or hit "Select"), you want, and it should show up in the "Characters to Copy" box. Then click on the button "Copy" then go to where you want to show the character and right-click your mouse button and select "Paste"Now, it might not be the size you want, but you can highlight it, and change the font or size of the character, once you have it in your document.According to the≥≤≦≦Yet another way to place a character in your document, would be to:[from Help screen for Character Map]you would find the Unicode in the description box at the bottom of the Character Map screen. How do you type infinity on the computer?

U+221E is the code for the infinity symbol in the Arial Unicode MS font. You'll find this symbol also in the Symbol font, there the code is 0xA5. It may be present in other fonts also but I didn't look further. Easiest way is to use the character map, select the correct font and copy the symbol. The character position in the Word document must be formatted to the correct font.

What kind of symbols can you make on the computer and how do you make them?

All the characters are listed in the Character Map. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. Each Font has different characters. Some characters have a keystroke in the lower right corner that you can use to make them. For the rest you have to select the character by clicking it and then clicking "select." Click "Copy" and paste it where you want it.

How do you get the star symbol on the keyboard?

Go to Character Map by clicking start > all programs > accessories > system tools > character map. Selct your font and check the advanced view box. Under "Search For" type star and push enter. Any matches will be displayed for the font you selected. The search will not always work though. In some fonts it will turn up no results even though that font has the character you're looking for. Double-click the star you want and it will appear in the "characters to copy" box. Click the copy button and paste the character where you want. The best one is in the Webdings font. It's the ninteenth character on the seventh row.
