After removing the wheel, pop the dust cap off of the center of the spindle, revealing the front axle nut. Remove the nut and washer. Remove the brake caliper and hang it with some wire or whatever you have on hand. (to keep from damageing the flex line). Now, BE CAREFUL, you now have to remove the abs sensor. It is held on with an Allen bolt. (metric size) CAREFULLY lift the sensor up and out of the well in the bearing housing. THEY CAN BREAK EASILY so hold your mouth right! Now, the worst could be over... But not always! There are three bolts behind the backing plate that need to be removed, after which the entire spindle should simply fall out. One of mine did, but the other...well it was so froze-up that my gear puller actually pulled the bearing assembly apart rather than pulling the whole assembly off. (The bearing assembly halves are put together with a press!)Speaking of that, if the assembly co-operates and falls off it will have to be pressed apart. There is a tapered bearing and a roller bearing inside. You can usually have the pressing done at a local machine shop. (unless of course you have a press of your very own.) For re-assembly try holding this document in the mirror.

I didn't say it would work, but you get the picture, right?
