This is simple but if you need to draw a picture of the assembly so you dont get things mixed up. (I dont think you are dumb but were only Human.Jack the car and remove the tire and take the two bolts that hold the caliper on. The two bolts are one the inside of the caliper. Pull the caliper up and remove the old pads noting there is a clip on one pad that must go on the new pad. If you have to turn the rotor it should come with a love tap with a hammer or your kids head which ever is harder. You'll notice a round object in the caliper and that is the piston that pushes the pads together to apply the brake and it must be pushed back to get the caliper back on and that is accomplished with a "C" clamp around the caliper. Slowly tighten the clamp till the piston will move no further. place the pads on the caliper the same way the old ones came off and put the bolts in and tighten them up good. Put the tire back on and start the car and and apply the brakes and the caliper will adjust itself. Make a few slow stops till you are sure it all works well.
