you need to take the wheel off, then remove the caliper from the knuckle once you have the calpier removed with a large pair of channel locks compress the caliper piston with the old pad still in place , remove the old rotor which should just slide off replace it with the new one, replace the pads in the compressed caliper, reinstall the caliper put the wheel back on and presto you are finished but before you put the car in any gear make sure you pump the brake pedal to seat the brakes again because remember you compressed the piston . good luck be safe use jack stands and block your wheels get a manual also it helps

If you are talking about brake rotors. No they are not pressed on. I have 97 Sentra GXE. I have pulled them off had them spun once and then the next time (30,000 miles later) I replaced them with RayBestos. If you are going with aftermarket brand brakes I recommend RayBestos. The house brands aren't the quality that OEM or RayBestos are. There are a lot of really nice premium brands out there but you will pay a premium price. A Buddy's 97 Honda Accord's brake rotors are one unit with the wheel hub assembly. One of the worste for maintenance designs ever. But my Sentra was nothing like that. Hope that helps.
