If you are talking about brake rotors. No they are not pressed on. I have 97 Sentra GXE. I have pulled them off had them spun once and then the next time (30,000 miles later) I replaced them with RayBestos. If you are going with aftermarket brand brakes I recommend RayBestos. The house brands aren't the quality that OEM or RayBestos are. There are a lot of really nice premium brands out there but you will pay a premium price.
A Buddy's 97 Honda Accord's brake rotors are one unit with the wheel hub assembly. One of the worste for maintenance designs ever. But my Sentra was nothing like that. Hope that helps.
