How do you change the cabin air filter on a 2004 oyota Tundra?

It's easy: on the 2007, 2008, 2009 and the 2003 4 Runner are all in the same place. I suspect it's the same on the 2004 TundraIt is behind the lower glove box. Just open glove box disconnect the little piston rod on the right side then squeeze in the side supports so the glove box will open way down. The cabin filter it right behind the glove box. You will see a snap on door that covers the filter. Pull it off and slide out the filter.

Does heat waste gas in a 92 oyota corolla?

Kinda-sorta, but not enough to notice. In all current gasoline AKA petrol powered cars, the engines develop excess heat that has to be removed from the engine to keep it running smoothly. Usually it's the radiator at the front of the car that does this. Now, the heater in a car is just like the radiator, only smaller, that sits in the air ducts leading into the passenger compartment. When you turn the fan on, all you do is that you push air through this inside radiator and into the passenger compartment. So the heat is already there, it doesn't cost any extra fuel to make any heat. But it costs a tiny, tiny, tiny amount of fuel to run the fan. There are some exceptions to this rule: - if it's really, really cold outside, the engine may not produce any excess heat. Using the heater then will cause the engine to run colder than expected, which can make it use a little more fuel. - some cars, particularly those intended to be used where it's really cold, can be fitted with extra fuel-burning heaters, like a small home furnace. These will obviously use a bit of fuel when used. - diesel powered cars don't make as much excess heat as gasoline powered cars, and may be fitted with heaters as above as a factory standard. They too will use a bit of extra fuel when you crank the heater up.
