If your car has the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the fuel filter is on the fuel line right at the throttle body. Just release the hose clamps and install a new filter, put the hose clamps
back in place.
If your car has the 2.8L V6 the fuel filter is in the carburettor.:
1. Use the appropriate flare nut wrench to remove the fuel line at the fuel inlet nut.
2. Use the appropriate wrench to unscrew the fuel inlet nut from the carburettor.
3. The filter is inside the carburettor along with a spring.
Replacement is the reverse.
There is a thin gasket around the fuel inlet nut. Be sure it is in correctly as it will leak fuel if it is not in correctly.
