The fuel filter is located with the frame rail on the driver's side and requires quick disconnect tools to change it. You are probably better off having it done the next time you have it serviced since even the cheap disconnect slip rings will cost you ten dollars and you will probably never use them again.

B2500 with extended cab is 19.5 gallons The B2500 without extended cab is less - I think it is 14 gallons or so.
The fuel filter is located is mounted within the left frame rail. You will need a special tool available at most auto parts stores to remove the push-connect fittings from the filter.
