1. Put the vehicles rear wheels on drive up stands and leave the vehicle running.

2. While the engine is running remove fuel pump fuse under the hood and after engine stalls disconnect negative cable from the battery.

3. Place a floor jack close by with a 4x8 board around 2 ft long.

4. remove bar bolt on drivers side that runs across vehicle and then on the passenger side just loosen and swing bar out of the way.

5. Place jack and board under tank, make sure it fits between the two tank straps and then proceed to jack up the jack til you reach the tank.

6. loosen the fuel filler line on the rear of the tank there are two straps us a screw driver or 7mm socket and make sure you can twist the rubber hose this makes it easier to remove the tank.

7. remove front tank strap near driver and proceed to do the same to the rear strap.

8. Lower the tank with the jack just a little so you can disconnect the fuel lines to the tank. There are two clips a white one and black. All you need to do is tap on them alittle first then push the clips in to remove the fuel lines. If they do not move in there prolly dirty so spray some wd40 and work them. Push in pull apart the lines. If you brake one make sure you pick some up at a local auto store. Dorman part number 800023 6 clips three white three black 3/8 and 5/16.

9. there are two electrical connectors on top of the tank remove them. Careful on the one with the red clip. slid the little red clip up and use a very small screwdriver to lift up the clip that was covered by the red clip and it will pull apart then. Use the screw driver for the other clip also.

10. There are evap lines on the rear of the tank five I believe they have the same push in clips work them and they will come apart to do not break these.

11. Once you disconnected all the lines lower the tank.

12. clean around the fuel pump area with a vacuum and small tooth brush.

13. Remove fuel pump cover using a brass punch and hammer counter clockwise. Clean dirt up when doing this so it doesn't go into tank when you remove the pump.

14. Once you remove the pump. Disconnect the old fuel level sensor track how it was set up and remove the connections and replace the same way. Now your all done put the seal back on the pump reconnect the lines closest to pump make sure you hear a click when putting the lines back together.

15. Put everything back the way to took it off. Good Luck
