Its in the gas tank all part of the pump and fuel level sensing unit. Unless you have mechanical skill and some tools, may want to have the garage do this. Wont be cheap as the sending unit alone can cost upwards of $300 - $450 plus labor to put it in.
There is only one fuel pump fuse on a 2001 Pontiac Montana. It can be found in the engine compartment near the firewall at the rear of the compartment.
The sending unit and the fuel pump are all one module in the gas tank.
sounds like the fuel sensor inthe fuel tank which means removing tank to replace
you will need to replace the fuel sensor and it is all in one with the fuel pump its in the gas tank.
According to Autozone's website, it is under the vehicle, ahead of the fuel tank attached to the chassis. On my 2001 it is located under the vehicle on the driver's side approximately half-way back.
my 2000 Montana is still on its original fuel pump
The 2004 Pontiac Montana Ext Minivan holds 25 gallons of fuel in the fuel tank.
Not exactly sure what you're asking for here, but if you mean a fuel pump reset switch, as on a Ford, these vehicles are not equipped with it.
on the undercarriage...
Pontiac does not use inertia/reset switches.
In the fuel tank
my fuel pump is not work
