On the drivers side:1) remove intercooler tube and air intake tube 2) remove valve cover bolts 3) disconnect glow plug wires (white) 4) Using 1/4" drive 10mm deep well socket 5) to more easily remove the plugs use a piece of nylon hose (works well to reinstall too). On passenger side the process is just about the same but I found it to be quite a bit harder to work around the heater core; one way to make things easier is to reach through the wheel well with a box wrench; also don't even attempt this job without a long extention and a knuckle for your wrench...Good luck!
