Open up the hood, and go in behind the fixture where the light is located. Grasp the headlamp electrical connector socket (with wires coming out of it) and disconnect it by pulling straight back. Pull off the black, soft rubber protective housing that surrounds the back of the headlamp housing. You will then see a spring clip secured by a 1 Phillips head screw. Remove the screw and the spring clip will come off. Alternatively unwedge the spring clip from the other end (I had no luck unwedging, and it was easier to remove the screw. The old headlamp will now be loose and you can carefully remove it. Never touch the new bulb with your bare fingers, as the skin-oil you leave will greatly shorten the bulb's life. Place the new bulb assembly into the housing, replace the spring clip and secure it with the Phillips head screw, replace the black rubber housing-cover, plug the electrical connector back in, and you're in business.
If you are replacing the driver's saide headlamp, you will probably have to remove the battery to be able to access the back of the headlight.
