My first question would be why you want to change it. I too thought that I needed a replacement. I took the knob off to see how that might be accomplished and discovered that the nut on the shaft had come loose, and that is why the switch was making intermittent contact. With a pair of pliers, I was able to tighten (to snug) the nut and the problems (both cooling and heating) that I had been experiencing for a couple of years were resolved.
