The 1996-1998 vortec 350 was an updated version of the older vortec style fuel system used on the smaller v6 engines. All eight injectors are mounted inside the intake manifold. You have to split the intake manifold and remove the upper portion. Once inside you can remove the Central Sequential Fuel Injection (CSFI) unit as well as all of the attached tubes and poppet valves. CAUTION - Pay attention to the location of each injector and the location of it's corresponding tube and poppet because they must be placed in a sequential order hence the name. The injectors are popped out the bottom and then reassemble in reverse order. Hope this helps!!
Assuming that you would use the intake and the injectors and the computer from the 2000 and they are both vortec.
it is under the upper intake manifold, if you have a vortec engine
