The bulbs are accessible under the trunk lid. They are behind the plastic parts shielding the bulbs.
However, you could also do it my way.
1. Drive to the Mercedes Benz Dealership
2. Greet the friendly service manager
3. Ask them to change the bulb
4. Enjoy a cup of coffee and glossy magazine while you wait.
5. Pay the friendly service manager a modest amount
6. Drive off with new bulbs installed.
