I assume you have an oil leak in that area and you have changed the oil sending unit and you still have an oil leak in the same area. If so very rarely does that gasket leak. What is most likely leaking is. There is a series of bolts on the side of the engine block just above the oil pan bolts. There is one located between the oil filter and the front of the engine. It is a 10mm bolt head. A long 3/8's drive extension, a wiggle / universal joint and a 10mm socket. Go through the wheel well to gain access to the bolt. Remove the bolt clean it real good and dry it. Clean the block surface and dry it. Put a thin film of silicone sealer on the bolt sealing surface and reinstall bolt, allow to dry and your leak will be gone. Trust me. The oil filter adapter is not leaking plus the adapter also has the cooling system running through it. Do what I recommend before you try replacing the adaptor gasket.
