  1. Loosen the lug nuts on the passenger side, front wheel.
  2. Lift car on ramps or jackstands.
  3. Remove the passenger side front wheel.
  4. Open oil cap on engine.
  5. Place an oil catch container directly under the oil pan.
  6. Using socket set or wrench, remove the oil drain.
  7. The Oil Filter is on the passenger side of the engine, just below the intake manifold. You can reach it from the passenger side fender now. Owners with small arms may opt to see if they can reach the oil filter from the top of the engine bay and avoid removing the wheel in the future.
  8. Unscrew the oil filter, be prepared for a small amount of oil to leak out, it may travel to unexpected places as it runs on the suspension and splash pan.
  9. Generously apply new motor oil the the threads and gasket ring of the new oil filter.
  10. Replace new oil filter tightly.
  11. Replace drain plug.
  12. Fill engine with 4 quarts of motor oil.
  13. Close oil cap.
  14. Replace wheel, tighten lugnuts.
  15. Place car on ground, make final tightening adjustments to lugnuts.
