How do you change the oil on a 2006 Ford Mustang GT?

1. Raise and support car on jackstands
2. Postion drain pan under the plug in the bottom of the engine then remove the plug.Its a good idea to wear a rubber glove while unscrewing the plug
3. After all oil has drained wipe off plug with clean rag.Clean area around the drain plug opening,reinstall the plug and tighten it scurely but don't strip the threads
4. Move the drain pan into position under the oil filter.Loosen oil filter by turning counterclockwise
5. Using clean rag wipe off the mounting surface on the block.smear some engine oil on the rubber gasket of the new filter and screw it on
6. Add new oil in small amounts and check fluid level so often as you add DONT OVER FILL
