it should be right be hind the distributor and u will a need a special wrench at a parts store its round at the bottom an got a wire on it that clips on to the oil pressure unit

you remove the battery hold down brace and voala! its done!
go from underneath it takes probably 2 minutes to do both
change over to air shocks on rear end
You don't have to remove it, you just have to lift it off the mount enough to get the pan to come off.

No, if you mean by "change", to change the pressure at which the dashboard indicator or message lights up to indicate low or high pressure. You can, however, turn the system off.
There are several sending units in that vehicle such as the fuel sending unit, the oil pressure sending unit, the temperature sending unit. Need to know which one you want to change.
The oil pressure sending unit on a PT cruiser can be found on the upper front cover of the engine. Remove the retaining nut and the sensor will come out. Reverse the process to install the new sending unit.
