In order to replace the outer tie rod end on 1994 Buick, you should start by loosening the jam nut, then unscrew the tie rod end and then remove the cotter pin. Fit it the new tie rod end and screw back all the parts.Ê
Lift vehicle , take off tire, remove cotter pin on tie rod bolt, remove bolt, use pickle fork and mallet to unseat tie rod , unthread tie rod , be sure to count threads so you can get it close to original position , install reverse of removal.
Should be at the end of the upper radiator hose.
Remove old one and replace. Several specialty tools are required. The last step is a front end allignment.

I had that problem, not really a fishtail but the rear end seem to be really loose. The problem went away after replace the rear struts.
