by pressing the keys and tightening and loosening your lips
A piccolo trumpet has a higher pitch than that of a traditional trumpet.
Valves, either piston or rotary are used to change the pitch of a trumpet.
Trumpets produce sounds by buzzing your lips into a mouthpiece connected to the trumpet. the faster you buzz your lips, the higher pitch the sound, the slower, the lower. the pitch can also change by pushing down the valves in different combonations
Volume is controlled by air flow, and pitch is changed with the valves and lip configuration.
Valves. They're used to change the pitch.
a trumpet is an instrument that is used in orchestra bands and is often used in jazz music. it is a brass instrument with three valves that change the pitch which will produce the notes.
Trumpet produces a higher pitch as compared to a Trombone
Trumpet, by two octaves

A trumpet player such as myself would change the pitch of his or her trumpet by increasing the amount of air you blow through your trumpet-this can also be done by tightening your lips Increasing the *amount* of air increases the volume. To change pitch, you change the *speed* of the air. Pressing valves also changes the pitch.
Because it change the length of tubing the must travel to. the less it travels, the higher the pitch. visa versa
there are holes/tubes in each valve, and as air passes through them different sounds come out when you change the path.
