on your 1996 in the fuse panel on the driver's end of the dash - visible with the driver's door open - in location # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio and in location # 29 there is a 10 amp fuse for the audio system. I don't know if there is a fuse on the back of your radio or not.
