The taillights are accessed by opening the rear liftgate and looking at the side of the area that is usually hidden by the door on the body of the car when it's closed. Its all plastic back there but there should be two phillip head screws there in the plastic that point to the sides of the vehicle and towards the taillights. Remove the screws and the taillight housing assembly will come out by pushing backward on the housing. Just jiggle them a little bit and they'll come loose. The housing is held in place with tabs on the light reflector housings on the outside direction of the car and the two screws on the inside. The reflector housing will be held in then by only the wires that go to the bulbs. The bulbs then can be accessed by rotating the bulb holder counter clockwise in the housing and then pushing in and turning the bulb. Your parts store will have replacement bulbs and since one bulb is bad you might as well replace them all as they're relatively inexpensive.
I hope this makes sense......it'll become more clear when you start the process.
Good Luck !!!
