Open tailgate/liftgate and find the two bolts holding the brake light assembly.
Remove the bolts and wiggle the assembly out.
Turn the bulb bracket until it pops out and just pull the bulb itself out .
Look at the new bulb its just a little bulb with no plastic if i remember it correctly. Kinda like a dome light bulb where it's all glass.
