After starting up Excel you should load up the file required, highlight the whole of the chart, click on the format tab at the top of the screen to find the formatting options. After this you should select the 3-D format option, then select the options to select the size, depth and color. Then use the close button to close the formatting area and return to your 3-D chart.
The plot area walls and chart area in Excel can easily be customized. This can be done by applying predefined shape styles to the area. You can also apply shape outlines and shape fills.

Then, to position shapes or objects to the closest intersection of the grid, click Snap to Grid or to position shapes or objects to grid lines that go through the vertical and horizontal edges of other shapes or objects, click Snap to Shape.
