Undo securing bolt on wheel arch skin which is located at the back side of the wheel arch, peel the wheel arch skin away from wheel arch only to the top of the arch then put hand inside wing and squeeze the clip together on the indicator then the unit will pop out. To change bulb simply hold lens with one hand and the bulb holder with other twist approx 1/4 turn and separate revealing bulb. Simply replace bulb and refit.

A much easier way without all the hassle written above is to take a credit card and slide it under the side indicator unit, usually at the front, this will release the retaining clip and allow you to pull the unit from the wing. Then grasp the lens and twist the bulb to remove it for replacement. Once done simply push it back into the hole and it will clip back into place.
No tools required and takes all of 10 seconds.
