Remove "vibe" plastic cover from the engine. Unscrew mountings for the spark plug wires and wire harness tie downs, I believe the bolts are all 10mm. Remove spark plug sockets and using a 14mm deep socket with a rubber insert to stick onto the spark plug and unscrew. Ignition system is a coil system so no need to look to replace a cap and rotor.
After looking for the manual, I couldn't find much. However, I did some research for the Vibe and from most comments I see, there are four spark plugs that go into the 2003 Vib.e

The spark plugs on a 2004 Pontiac Vibe are changed by removing the plug cover, disconnecting the spark plug wires, and taking out individual spark plugs using a deep wall socket. New plugs are then set to the proper gap and torqued into place.
They are above the cylinder. to find them fallow the distributor cap wires to the spark plugs There are no cap wires on the vibe, take the plastic cover off the top of engine. There are 4 coils in center of valve cover, remove them and the plugs are down in the holes where the coils came off.

First you remove the plastic engine cover on top of the valve cover. Then you remove the wires from each of the three coils, then you remove the bolt holding each coil and remove coil. Down in that hole is the spark plug, remove with socket and replace.
