If the 2002 model "TL" is anything like the 1999 model, then you have ignition coils instead of wires. I did not attempt to tackle the job on my own because i had no idea what i was about to get into. After replacing the coils(there is ONE for each cylinder), spark plugs, and labor i ended up spening somewhere around $500. After i got my car i noticed that when you open the hood on the car the coils are actually noticeable. If you take the plastic cover off of the motor you can basically see all of the coils, three on the front side and three on the back. Seems that i could have saved a little bit of money by doing it myself.
