life the front of the car up. so you can get under it,, the starter is on the passenger side of the tranny, there are 2 bolts holding it on.. but first you will have to diconnect the positive side of the battery,,, then disconnect the ehaust from the headers. don't forget to disconnect the O2sensor you will see it. it looks like a spark-plug on the ehaust next to the driver side header..... you have to drop the ehaust so you have room to remove the starter. once the ehaust is down, remove the 2bolts holding the starter in place. when the starter is free to be moved around. spin it around tell you see the solenoid, you will see 2 wires you have to disconnect. now the starter is ready to come out.. good luck

Remove the positive battery cable from your 1994 Firebird battery. Remove the cables from the front of your starter. Remove the starter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new starter.
