Taking apart the dash to get to the CD player is merely a matter of prying up that silver part of your center console. Just take a flat screwdriver, put some electrical tape over the tip so you dont scratch, and go around the perimeter of it. It will come off. The CD player is held in by only 4 screws. underneath that.

Mitsubishi Lancer's Are Faster Stock, But Any Car Can Be Made Faster Than The Other With The Proper Modifications.
Mine came with one stock, how did yours not?
The stock 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer sports saloon car had an advertised horse power of 276. This provided approximately 234 hp to the wheels. Various customised versions of the car have increased maximum horse power to 405.
The first thing you can do is to change the stock exhaust system with an aftermarket exhaust system. In turn, you should fit a performance intake filter and either re-map the standard ECU or replace it, again with an aftermarket solution.
open the frame that covers the screw of the CD player. you just need a sharp piece of tool or probably a screwdriver will do. after you removed the frame, you should see the screws that holds the CD player, go ahead and unscrew those screws then presto, the CD player can now be removed from your car. then put the new CD player that you want to put in and reverse the steps that you did to lock the frame. hope this helps! :) -aljhay
