Yes you can direct swap
a 93 tercel which most likey has a the stock 3e-e engine doesnt have an egr system.
More than likely, the stop pad has fallen or broken off.
No they are different
the transmission depends on the model you have but they ionly made one engine for the tercel its a 5 manual 4 manual or auto mostly 4 speed manuals some have 5 and you can swap a 5 from a paseolook me up on you tube THA REAPER 94 tercel
A '93 Tercel will take very close to four quarts of oil. Now I am not 100% sure but i think that the tranny will hold close to four quarts of gear oil.
The starter on a '93 tercel, if you are looking from underneath the car, is directly to the left of the alternator. It is a fairly simple job to remove and replace the starter. If I can recall correctly the only thing that you need to remove is the intake support braket, but don't quote me on that.
If its like the 93 tercel, you open hood, and its tucked in the back right corner.
it has struts on both front and back. most auto part stores such as o'rielly's will carry a tool you can rent to replace them.
you don't! there are no shocks. you must replace the struts.
