How do you change the brake light bulb in a 2008 Mitsubishi lancer?
Remove the outer taillight assemblies using a Phillips screwdriver #1 size. There are 2 screws for each taillight assembly. When the screws are removed, pry the light assembly from the body of the car. A thin flathead screwdriver is best used for this. The brake light is located as the closest bulb to the trunk. It uses a bulb type 7443, which is indicated on your light assembly. Simply remove the bad bulb and replace with a new one, reinstall the light assembly, and you're good to go.
