you want to pop the back trunk... there will be two pieces of plastic on top of the light fixtures... They pop out.... you have to remove the screws on top then use a screwdriver and move the black tabs to remove the plastic tops. Their might be another screw or two to remove then the whole taillight assembly slides out... (drivers side slides to the left, pass. opposite).
