You simply walk up to your attic, go to bed, and let the game save and restart. When the main menu comes up click on "Continue." When your person shows up in bed, instead of clicking on the person, click on the phone and click on "Change Time" or something like that. (I haven't played in a while.) Then you adjust the time to where you want to time travel, whether it be a day in the future, a day in the past, or as far as 2099.
** Remember, when you time travel for more than about a day or two, your town will have a lot of weeds. If you travel to 2099 or years in the future, DO NOT try to pick the weeds then and then travel back to present day. All the weeds will be back again and you will have to go through all of that backbreaking work of picking every single weed in the town! So if you don't like weeds all that much, don't time travel for more than maybe a week.
You can "time travel" in Animal Crossing city folk by talking to the cat when you're logging into the game. When he asks what you want to do, select "Other Stuff". He'll then give you an option to "set date/time" and you can punch in whatever you want... even years into the future or past.
Time traveling can have benefits, so whatever your reasons there's just a few things to keep in mind...
Turnips are an issue... if your machine checks against your console time and senses time travel then the animal that sells turnips won't have any red ones. Any white turnips you have might rot.
Flowers are an issue, and if you travel forwards more than three days after you've watered them you risk losing several. You'll also have a plethora of weeds when you arrive in the future if you travel forwards a significant amount of time because you haven't been around to be pulling them up.
The safest way to travel as far as flowers are concerned is to go one day at a time and run around watering wilted ones as you go... then you won't lose any. If you're time traveling backwards, flowers won't wilt (but they won't rejuvenate from watering either).
Time traveling is a good way to get a bunch of hybrids in a short time period, to replay holidays over and over, or just to hang out in springtime if you've got the winter "blahs". It's not a good option for the turnip "Stock Market".
First you go to the bedroom and click th phone and it ask you what you would like to do click change time and then change it to any time you want it to be then confirm and the time and date is changed you can also do this on the wii aniaml crossing city folk
You can change the time on Animal Crossing Wii when you log on, talking with Rover, the last option, instead of clicking "Yeah!" , click on "other things". The first option on that will be "change date/time." Then the first thing you can change is the date, then you can change the time. But if you only want to change one thing, then click on "confirm" on the thing you don't want to change.
P.S.
If you don't think this makes any sence, before you go to your town, when your talking with Rover, on his first question, press the last option witch is "other things" witch will let you have the option to change the date/time.
Before you click on the disc channel to get onto animal crossing lets go to the city you click on the button in the bottom left hand corner (the button with the Wii logo on it) after that you press Wii Settings after that you press on Calander the npress time then set the time you want and Done that's is now the time on animal crossing lets go to the city.
First you go onto the starting menu, go to continue, and you should see your characters asleep in the attic, there you will see a phone, click on the phone, click reset time and it will come up with a screen with the time and date, change the time and date to when you want and then click the confirm button and the time you put it as is the set time on your game!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would totally play a baby picture game. That is so much fun. You girls can all bring a picture and then people can guess at your pictures. If you hold it up, they will know that it is not you.
You time travel on animal crossing by having a 2 story house, by the time you are there go to the town hall and ask pelly questions time traveling will come up.
At the very beginning when you are talking to Rover, click on other things and you can change the date and time.
