Setting the date and clock
Use these instructions to set the clock.
1. Press FUNCTION to select clock.
2. Press "left" or "right" to select the segment you wish to set.
"Day-Month-Year-Hour-Minute"
As you select segments of the clock display the segment selected will blink.
3. Press "up" or "down" to set the date and clock.
Pressing "up" will increase the value of the selected segment. Pressing "down" will decrease the value of the selected segment.
turn off the unit first hit the clock button then hit the function button then it will flash then its ready for your input "use the arrows when its flashing to change the time".
Bose tends to be the best selection for car stereo systems. They do tend to cost more, but I have always found them to be of superior quality and they last for a long time.
If you do not have a wiring harness for your after market deck, then go out and get one. There cheap and will save yourself alot of time cutting and trying to match your speakers to the deck
You need to switch off the stereo and then you can use the buttons next to the clock to change the time. this also changes the time on the stereo.

the red is your main power wire, it makes the stereo turn on. The yellow is the memory and needs to be hooked to a constant or always hot lead, so you don't have to readjust your stereo every time you turn it on and off.

Access your time and date change function in the COMAND function part of your stereo. When you turn on the stereo there will be a setting button on the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the setting and enter on it. You will see time and date, scroll over to it and click on it. Change your time and date if necessary and you can even change whether you want it shown in military time or standard time.
