You can only do that if you have an onboard computer. In my case I have a VW Polo Confortline 2006 with computer. Then you just need to press an up/down button on the extremety of the wipe wash control (the right one). If you don't have onboard computer, I believe you that you can't check the ouside temperature, travel time, Kilometers left with current fuel on tank...

You have to take the clock out of the dash, and take it apart to find the solder points and just re-solder each connection point on the circut board. That is a common problem with the Maxima dash clock. .
