The 1985 Monte Carlo has four motor mounts. There are two motor mounts on top, a mount on the lower engine by the crank pullet and a transmission mount located on the lower left.
you have to buy the V8 motor mounts for your year Monte and bolt them in to fit the 305.
Get the motor mounts, trans mounts, transmission, radiator from a 1976 Malibu or Monte Carlo and swap them in.
There is enough room for it, but you might need to get creative on the motor mounts.
The motor mounts on a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo ss Are located behind the front tires. You have to remove the tires in order to access. They are underneath the wells of the car. those are the bottom ones and the top ones are located under the hood, connecting to the front frame of the car and to the motor.
A Cutlass is more or less the same thing as a Malibu or Monte Carlo. You could use motor mounts from either of those.
No

The rear plugs will have to be reached from underneath. The engine will need to be unbolted from the motor mounts (while being properly jacked up) and leaned forward. There is a special wrench used to reach up and get to the plugs at this point.
