The Transmission Fluid on a Chevy Trailblazer is changed by placing a drain pan under the vehicle, removing the drain plug, and allowing it to empty. The drain plug is then re-installed and fluid added through the filler tube until full.

To change the transmission fluid on your Chevy Malibu 2005, first, pull off the pan, drain the fluid, and replace it.
The transmission in the Trailblazer could be low on fluid. The internal shifting mechanism could be giving problems as well, keeping the transmission from shifting into gear.

Remove the plug from the bottom of your 2000 Chevy transmission. Allow the transmission to completely drained out. Return the transmission plug to its original position. Fill the transmission with new fluid.
