What size bulbs in vanity mirror on a 1999 ford explorer?
To replace the light bulbs in the sun visor vanity mirror on a 1991 Ford Escort LX, the mirror will have to be replaced. This part does not have replacement bulbs readily available. If the bulbs are not working it is a problem with a fuse as these run off the battery and are on the same circuit as the interior lights.
There are two different types of vanity mirror bulb types depending on your year. One is a simple festoon bulb that can be changed out, and another is a board with a bulb soldered on that will take a little custom work. You can either do this with custom work, change the vanity mirror out for the one with the small festoon bulb, or buy an led conversion online for $300

wat type of blazer? There are many types ,but only one way to change them let me know and Ill find out
Take a small flat head screw driver and pop the lamp lenses out , then you will see the 4 tabs that hold your visor on, pop the tabs out and remove the vanity base and you can see the bulbs. Then you will need to find the replacement bulb for them. Hope your bulbs aren't broken off, because they are almost impossible to get out. Hope this helps. If anyone has a good answer for getting the broken bulbs out, please post it .
from inside the trunk pop all of the plastic rivots and you can access the bulbs from the inside..
You actually only change the bulb. They are held in harnesses inside the hood, just behind the actual headlights. Once you start tinkering with it, you can see how it works. It's easy to change the bulbs in a C-Class Mercedes.
Because the Mercedes ML is a strong car and the light is powerful so u have to change it. And can ya come onto topspeed.com? Its my website. THX!!!!!!!!! I hope i answered ur question. TY!
They are located inside the trunk lid, underneath the felt lining. You need to unsnap and pull back the felt lining to access the bulbs for the license plate light.
For front turn signal bulbs, knock the mirror off - it sits on 3 round posts. For the rear, remove the rear light assembly and the bulbs are accessible from the back.
I bought replacement bulbs from a local large hardware store - they aren't sold as mirror bulbs, but as oven bulbs and they work fine in my Conair mirror.
