Hi, as far as I know there is no problem to use a Kindle on an airplane to read a book. You will need to turn off the 3G and WIFI and read what you have on the kindle already. You will have to do the usual of turn off all devices for takeoff etc but later you can turn it on as long as WIFI is off. If airplane personnel ask you to turn it off show them the 3G and WIFI is off and should be no problem. Like when you put your mobile phone in airplane mode etc.
The Kindle DX supports Arabic in two ways: natively with .AZW files and via PDF. There are already some Arabic text books available for Kindle, including Faruk Abu-Chacra'sArabic: An Essential Grammar and the Qur'an.The Kindle DOES NOT SUPPORT Arabic .MOBI or .PRC files because the default fonts are not fully Unicode compliant and don't support Arabic. You can also create PDF's of Arabic language documents and mail them to your Kindle account for a small fee, which depends on the size of the file. I've used a variety of fonts in documents I've created myself and they all display on the Kindle almost exactly as they do in the original. All types of Kindle support the above mentioned AZW and PDF formats. To avoid paying Amazon a fee for transmitting the file to your Kindle you can also achieve the same result using the supplied USB cable or a WiFi connection. You can also convert Arabic text into series of images as in following example. You can check the Qur'an which is converted into series of images for kindle.http://quranelibrary.blogspot.com
I asked this for others, not myself, and no, you don't. I asked many questions and answered some(not improved the answer) without an account. So no, you do not. I did not have an account when i asked my first question. But today i made an account. So now i have an account.(so you do not need an account to ask questions!)
Account is both a noun and verb. Example of the verb form: "I was asked to account for my time."
i asked
you would be asked this for security reasons only, ex someone trying to jack your account.
