with or with out destruction of the ionosphere. ahahahaha

your freon has been banned, R12.

in 94 suz went to r134.

so you need to either upgrade (expensive)

or

find a new universal refrigerant type.

common topic , million words on this....

Where can you get R12 freon

first off , don't bother asking a professional to do something illegal.

he will lose his /her license. so he will decline you.

expect that.

what you do in the darkness of your garage is your business.

no surprise what you seek is on Fleebay.

sold as SuperKook and other sexy names.

will say , compatible with r12.

what you will get is Propane.

it works, but don't get in a crash. "crash >>> burn>>>boom"

there are 3 issues. (besides morals) buy , selling and DOING.

the law covers the DOING. IMHO

Google " Freeze-12 " do your one research and make you own decisions.

finding , friendly labor is an other matter.

some pro shops have recycled R12 and is real expensive.

if near Canada one can get it there or done there.

and the best for last.

read carefully

note how the government actions ,ended up making many just dump their freon 12 in to the air.

how sad that is, another gvmnt boondoggle.

answer 2:

drain out the whole system. using your best method.

pull a vacuum on the system per spec.

add the new oil and r134. (exact amount of r134 is in the FSM of 1994 and 1995 )

the new 134 is slightly less efficient.\

but you will never know the difference.

answered by my sidekick (person not car) how does this (id do only electrics)

a new receiver dryer is important. Moisture in the system is bad news.
